Maxie, The World's Largest Canada Goose is in Sumner, Missouri, which is the
"Wild Goose Capital of the World". Maxie is a fiberglass statue built in
1976. Maxie is 40 feet tall and has a wingspan of 61 feet. Swan Lake
is a few miles away and has thousands of wintering geese. |

Brunswick is the Pecan Capital of Missouri. The pecan is on James Pecan
Farms and is a concrete replica of their patented Starking Hardy Giant pecan.

The Big Pump is located in King City, Missouri. Rufus Limpp,
an oil jobber, originally built a gas station in Maryville, MO that was shaped
like a 25 foot electric gas pump. After it closed down it was then moved
to King City, MO where it is located near the Bluegrass Ridge Wind Farm. |
