Painted Rock Conservation Area is located near Westphalia, Missouri. |
| There are several hiking trails that will lead you to some very
scenic overlooks. |

The Osage River can be seen from the overlooks. |
| There is evidence that Native Americans occupied the area as early
as 9000 years ago. An Indian burial cairn from 500 to 1500 years old can
be seen along the Osage Scenic Bluff trail. |

Westphalia, Missouri on Highway 133. |
